NYC and a Notre Dame Game

Well we are back. Phew. It was an AMAZING trip. Here are a few photos to enjoy while I work on organizing the rest! The kids were really great travelers and behaved themselves on the plane. Although, Carter did treat the entire plane to his special song "In the Water" "In the Water" in the tune of the Sesame Street theme song....for 4 hours. I think we were the most hated people on the ride back but Carter was not naughty...just very...talkative!

I was just glad to be on the ground. We flew over the tornados in the mid-west and it was rather scary. More to come.

(the bonus at the game was we sat right next to the Alumni band from Notre Dame...so we had front row seats to some great Notre Dame fight music!)

At the game at the new Meadowlands stadium.

Speaking of birthdays...I forgot to post these photos from Chris' big 30th surprise bash!

Our best friends Teresa and Craig (we went to their wedding in July in Bozeman and it was great!)

After the party we went to check out the greenbelt.

A birthday weekend

We had a very fun weekend!
I can't believe I'm 28. The years are really going fast!

But Mommmmm...

Cole's argument to stay up an additional 30 minutes and watch football with Chris:

"But Moooooooooooooom, football is for adults and I don't even understand it.
It's all for grown-ups. Please, pretty please let me stay up!"

In other news: Carter

Today, Carter began saying "water" in place of "wa wa"

The Playground

With anxious excitement Carter said "Me do" "Me Play Mommy!"

I hesitated for a moment. But he's just a baby I thought. So we walked over to the stairs and he climbed them all by himself. He did not need my hand to guide him.

He came down the slide with a giggle and a laugh.

Within that moment I realized. He's a little boy and not so much a baby anymore.
