The Aluminum Show

We had a show come into our theater and they were from Israel. It was pretty dramatic leading up to the show because they tried to cancel on us. The caravan of performers got to Donner's Pass and turned around and headed to Oregon. So we in Idaho Falls had 1,000 school kids who were very disapointed when the matinee cancelled. They did finally turn around and come back to Idaho to fulfill their contract. Basically what we found out was they didn't want to put chains on their new buses because the buses cost alot of money. Also, did I mention they were from ISRAEL. So we had a language barrier and were working back and forth with the agent in NYC. All the drama was worth it though in the end. The show was awesome. Prior to the show in the theater I hosted a art workshop for children and I had over 100 kids show up. Luckily, I had my little sister Whitney with me and she helped me facilitate the workshop. She is my partner in crime!

This is Cole's artwork. We made stained-glass windows and aluminum sculptures.

These are huge foil pillows that were thrown into the audience and we bopped them around.

Here's some of the set.

Afterwards the theater was a mess!
