Last week with the Chamber of Commerce I toured some of the facilities in Idaho Falls that keep the city running smoothly. This included the city power plant and city sewage center. It was intersting but also very gross. (see below)
Hydro turbine.
Sewer plant. That house is draining water from the poop pool into another pool below the grate.
Really? These signs were everywhere. I guess someone did drink the water a few years ago...and this lead them to putting up signs. Ew.
Poop water.
More poop water. This guy above scooped up a cup of poop water and put it in the small container. I was totally gagging.
Um. Ew.
