All things VW

Saturday was the VW car show. Chris entered his car and spent Friday night waxing it. Cole entertained himself on the skateboard. Cole is so cute!

Saturday morning....

Both of these were from Utah. They drove all the way to Idaho Falls going no faster than 55 mph. It took 5 hours. This bug below had every accessory possible. The swamp cooler for the window, bike rake, and roof rake. It was a site to see.

Front view.

Pretty awesome buses were there.

This is a double-cab. Chris wants one very badly. They are 1/2 pickup 1/2 bus.

We walked over to Wendy's for lunch and Carter made a flamingo out of his building block things.

Cole bought a very cool patch.

Cole here is showing us how low this double-cab is. At some parts it was barely 1/2 inch off the ground. Which is really silly. But they drove up from Utah as well. Somehow they made it into the parking lot.

Chris' bug...the money pit....self proclaimed from Chris. We love the vehicle though.

Side view of the super low double-cab.

Kids loaded up ready to go. Fun times at the car show.

Sunday at the Art Festival and more fun in the Bug

One of the Public Art benches from the project I worked on.

Another Public Art bench.

A history lesson with Chris.

Baskin Robbins. 31 flavors of awesomeness.

A day of fun and wonder.

Buggin' around town

The bug is back. A 1965 Volkswagen Beetle.

First ride in the bug. We have decided the brand new seatbelts Chris installed on Saturday are for sure the nicest part of the car. It's all in the fun of it though. We had a great time.

Somebody was all bugged out at the end of our family outing.

Summer Fun!
