A Major Award

Chris is awesome. Not only is he a devoted husband and very cute and clever. He's also an awesome Dad. There isn't a time that Chris ever tells Cole he doesn't have time to throw the football or play catch. Even if it's 20 degrees outside. Chris and Cole will bundle up in their warmest clothes and head out into the backyard until their noses are so cold they have to come back inside. Chris will watch hours and hours of Scooby Dooby Doo with Carter and then participate in a 'tickle attack' with both the kids. Bottom line: Chris is a solid provider for the family. He works hard. We have awesome health/eye/dental insurance (hello...Cole needs braces!) and Chris doesn't waver on hard decisions. He makes the right decision and always takes into account what is best for the family. He's awesome. Period.

So on Sunday morning when we were reading the paper together he looked up and said, "It's my 5 year anniversary with work." I was very proud. Chris works for Bechtel Bettis who is a subcontractor at the Naval Reactor Facility within the Idaho National Laboratory. Yes, it's kinda a big deal. It's a very good job and it's a tough job. There are alot of hard days at work and he has to know alot and what it all means to me...is he has to be very smart with Math. Yikes. Math. Math isn't really my friend. It's Chris' speciality though. With a bunch of other really cool perks (hello extra week of vacation!) Chris also was given a MAJOR AWARD. It came today. Tonight the boys will open the MAJOR AWARD and then I'll post a picture of what it is. (And it might be a Leg Lamp ala Christmas Story).

In other awesomeness...here are the Christmas lights Chris hung on the house yesterday.
